What makes you listen to music?
I listen to music mainly when I want to relax or I have some spare time as it often takes my mind off of things. I also listen to music if my friends are talking about a particular artist or album or song.
What do you think makes a good music video?
I think a good music video is one that keeps me interested the whole way through. When artists do something unconventional in the video it often makes a god music video.
What keeps you interested in a music video?
I often stay interested in a music video when there is an unusual narrative or some sort of dance act.
Can a music video change your view of a track?
It can, I wasn’t a big fan of Ed Sheeran’s ‘ You need me I don’t need you’, however I saw the video and I found it very interesting and different and I would say it changed my view of the song solely because of the video.
Can you describe your favourite video/ scene and explain why this is your favourite?
My favourite video is Katy Perry – California Girls. The reason this is my favourite is because its set in a sort of dream world filled with sweets and lots of colour and Katy Perry and Snoop Dogg both have unique costumes.
Do you think music videos influence your own behaviour; explain ?
I don’t think that music videos particularly influence my behaviour, however I do think that it can influence my style of clothing or hairstyle.
